What is PoSAD?
Proof of Stake and Delegated Authority (PoSAD) is a hybrid consensus mechanism that combines the best aspects of both PoS and DA models. This innovative approach ensures that Zi Network remains decentralized, secure, and efficient while also allowing token holders to have an active role in the network’s governance.
Proof of Stake (PoS)
Proof of Stake is a consensus mechanism that allows token holders to validate transactions and create new blocks based on the number of tokens they hold. This approach provides better energy efficiency and security compared to traditional Proof of Work (PoW) mining. In Zi Network, token holders can participate in the validation process, earning rewards for their contributions.
Delegated Authority (DA)
Delegated Authority is a governance model where token holders elect delegates, who then take part in the decision-making process on their behalf. This model ensures that the network remains decentralized and prevents the concentration of power in the hands of a few large token holders.
In Zi Network, token holders can elect delegates to participate in the network’s governance, such as voting on proposals and other important decisions. This ensures that the network remains fair, democratic, and community-driven.
